During my long-time intensive involvement in photography, I have come to believe that the world of the press and the picture is my profession. I am able to combine major experience in discovering visual ideas in all sectors of photography with journalistic instinct, writing skills and appreciation of art. The work of curator and researcher, the development of journalistic formats and cooperation in cultural projects concentrating on photography are challenges which I am willing to take on.
I have acquired large-scale theoretical and practical knowledge in all fields of photography, electronic picture processing, the key areas of graphic design, typography, multimedia, film and video technology as well as intercultural communication. In addition, I intend to give a dedicated work performance on the basis of my profound computer expertise, creative potential and a high-level educational background. For fourteen years, I have worked successfully as an extensively travelling photo journalist, photo and graphic designer and co-operated in activities of cultural institutions and companies. Alone and also in teams, I have been involved in complex projects with a high degree of responsibility.
As a result of my work as curator/researcher with Avenso AG Berlin during the last 18 months, I have familiarized myself with the structure of an up-to-date managed company. I am responsible for the field of scientific and nature photography of the portfolio and conduct a daily study of newspapers and magazines as well as the development of my special field, plus the top-level scenes of contemporary photography, digital art and illustration. My principal tasks at the moment are the precise evaluation, licensing and further development of intellectual/artistic picture contents in preparation of extremely successful marketing. Apart from that I am involved in numerous cultural projects and work as portfolio reviewer and journalist in Europe.

Im Laufe meiner langjährigen intensiven Beschäftigung mit der Fotografie und den Medien bin ich zu der Überzeugung gelangt, dass mein berufliches Zuhause die Welt der Presse und der Bilder ist. Ich verbinde grosse Erfahrung in der Findung von Bildideen in allen Sparten der Fotografie mit journalistischem Denken, Schreibtalent und Kunstverstand. Die Bereiche der Kuratierung, der Bildredaktion, die Entwicklung von journalistischen Formaten und die Mitarbeit an Kulturprojekten, die das photographische Bild zum Gegenstand haben, sind Herausforderungen, denen ich mich gerne stellen will.
Ich besitze ein umfangreiches theoretisches und praktisches Wissen in allen Bereichen der Fotografie, der elektronischen Bildverarbeitung, in den Kernbereichen des Grafikdesigns, der Typographie, der Multimedia-, Film- und Videotechnik sowie der interkulturellen Kommunikation. Dieses Fachwissen verbinde ich mit fundierten Computerkenntnissen, kreativem Potential und einer hohen Allgemeinbildung zu einer zielgerichteten Arbeitsweise. Während meiner vierzehnjährigen erfolgreichen selbstständigen Tätigkeit als reiseerfahrener Bildjournalist, Foto- und Grafikdesigner sowie Mitarbeiter kultureller Einrichtungen und Unternehmen habe ich allein und auch in Teams mit Redakteuren, Art Directoren und Werbefachleuten komplexe Projekte mit hoher Verantwortlichkeit durchgeführt.
Durch meine Tätigkeit als Kurator/Researcher bei der Avenso AG in den letzten 18 Monaten habe die ich Struktur eines modern geführten Unternehmens kennen gelernt. Ich verantworte den Bereich der wissenschaftlichen und Naturfotografie des Portfolios und studiere täglich neben der aktuellen Tages- und Magazinpresse die Entwicklung meines Spezialbereichs sowie der wichtigsten Szenen der zeitgenössischen Fotografie, der digitalen Kunst und Illustration. Meine momentanen Hauptaufgaben sind die präzise Bewertung, Lizensierung und Weiterentwicklung geistig-künstlerischer Bildinhalte zur Vorbereitung einer äusserst erfolgreichen Vermarktung. Des weiteren bin ich als Portfolio Reviewer und Journalist hauptsächlich in Mittel- und Osteuropa tätig.
